Luong & Leclerc wanted to provide its clients with virtual pharmaceutical counter services. The mobile application had to enable patients to sign up for the service, order medication by sending a photo of their prescription, and see a pharmacist by videoconference. Having unsuccessfully searched for an off-the-shelf solution, Luong & Leclerc turned to Spiria to obtain a custom-made solution that would meet its needs exactly.

The Background
Luong & Leclerc is a large pharmacy specialized in fertility treatments.
The Solution
Spiria carried out a detailed needs analysis and built the mobile and Web application structure. This work involved drawing up a list of the various features and prioritizing them, which enabled us to minimize technical and budgetary uncertainty. The mobile application saves clients a trip to the pharmacy, since the application supports home delivery. The entire process of entering and saving personal information and prescription information has been specifically designed to be streamlined, user-friendly and accessible. The Web application allows pharmacists to manage mobile application users’ files and the video conferencing wait list right on the pharmacy computers.

The Results
The ability to see a health professional by videoconference is a major attraction for clients. The mobile application, natively developed for iOS at first, was such a hit that Luong & Leclerc asked us to develop a native Android version. Luong & Leclerc’s ability to provide such practical and unique health-care services sets it apart from the competition while enhancing customer satisfaction and signalling its commitment to service excellence.
We approached Spiria with a good idea of what we needed and the team was able to turn our idea into a complete product. Not only did they understand what we wanted to accomplish, but they were able to improve the concept. The whole team was incredibly professional.
