Business Development Director

Gatineau

The Business Development Director's primary role is to identify and develop new business opportunities by building strong relationships with potential clients and partners. The incumbent will be responsible for expanding Spiria’s client portfolio through prospecting, networking, and presenting tailored solutions to meet business needs. While the focus is on acquiring new accounts, the role also involves collaborating strategically with internal teams to ensure the success of proposals and foster satisfaction with prospects and clients.   

As a Business Development Director at Spiria, you will be required to:

  • Actively and strategically develop new accounts and business opportunities through prospecting and networking.
  • Identify and qualify the needs of potential customers to propose appropriate solutions, drawing on the strengths of the technical and marketing teams;
  • Represent Spiria professionally to stakeholders at executive and tactical levels; Understand the strategic and business drivers motivating the development of client projects.
  • Assume the responsibilities of a business and technology advisor and involve the team as required;
  • Work with Marketing and Sales teams on strategies to develop Spiria's sales funnel, and collaborate with team members when writing service offers;
  • Lead the preparation of proposals, playing an active role in their final validation, to ensure quality deliverables and alignment with customer needs.

The keys to your success:

  • Professional experience in developing sales of customized B2B business solutions and professional technology services;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English, with strong interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills;
  • Good understanding of consultative selling and its complex process;
  • Demonstrated experience in managing strategic accounts and building lasting relationships with customers to deliver an exceptional sales experience;
  • Exceed expectations in developing and acquiring new accounts in diverse markets through innovative vision;
  • Highly autonomous, resourceful and results-oriented, while enjoying teamwork and collaborative support;
  • An extensive and inspiring network of business contacts;
  • Ability to use CRM tools and other technological platforms for sales tracking and analysis;
  • Be resilient and enjoy the social support of your team!
