Lenovo hangs in there and checks the boxes. The company is giving its foldable PC, the ThinkPad X1 Fold, another chance with a new version that has a larger screen (16.3 inches, 2,024 × 2,560 pixels), more powerful specifications, and an operating system better suited to multitasking on the foldable OLED touchscreen. The new PC’s chassis is 25% thinner than the previous 13.3-inch ThinkPad X1 Fold, weighing in at 1.3 kg. It’s powered by 12th-Gen Core i5 or i7 processors, up to 1TB of SSD storage and up to 32GB of DDR5 memory, with an option of Windows 11 Home or Windows 11 Pro. There is no fan however, as cooling works on a unique system of graphite sheets with copper plating. The device is expected to show up on shelves in November with a starting price of US$ 2,500. The Bluetooth stylus and keyboard are not included with the 13-inch model, adding US$ 250 to the price. This also holds true for the new foldable ThinkPad.
